"[...] È certamente poi assai difficile individuare, in queste composizioni, dove finisca la musica contemporanea e dove inizi il jazz. Non è difficilissimo, ma diciamo che è un confine amabilmente sfumato. Il sottile confine lo si può a volte individuare nell’innestarsi sul “corpus” della ripetizione seriale, di un accordo o di un intervallo, le sonorità più anarchiche del sax o del clarinetto di Pietro Bittolo Bon, come per esempio accade nella prima magnifica mini-suite dal titolo All the weapons we are. Ma procedendo nell’ascolto i paradigmi sembrano mescolarsi, se non proprio ribaltarsi, e già dal secondo brano, The Mouse, the Clown and the Naked Child, sembra essere l’elettronica a portare a passeggio nell’universo sonoro le parti dove la scrittura musicale è più definita, con sempre in grande evidenza i fiati di Bittolo Bon, che è l’elemento-ponte tra il jazz e il fraseggio destrutturato del piano di Lorenzo Binotti più in consonanza con la classica contemporanea. [...] Grandi idealità per una grande musica."
